Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE WISTOSKI (nee DE WIT) Peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at the Grace General Hospital, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband John, her sister Jean (Martin) and her brother Martin. Loving mother of Wendy (Doug) McMaster, loving 'Gram' to Jason (Joanna) McMaster and Romy (John) Woolcott, and great-grandmother to her favourite little guy, Kaden McMaster. She is also survived by her sister Betha (Han) as well as numerous extended family in Canada, Holland, and throughout the world. Anne was born in Bergen op Zoom, Holland, met her husband John during the Second World War and moved to Winnipeg in 1945. Anne and her Johnny' had many happy years together, spending time at the cottage or at home with their family and close friends, and traveling to many places - especially to visit her family in Holland. A deep, loving commitment to her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchild was the primary characteristic and gift of Anne's life. In addition, she loved politics, sports, animals, a good drink and a good conversation. Passionate, independent, involved, caring and loving, Anne will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace General Hospital for their compassion and care. A very special thank you to Anne's niece, Gail Dabbs, for her loving attention and kindness during Anne's last days. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation or the Grace General Hospital Foundation.
