ROBERT WAYNE HORN July 23, 1936 December 31, 2008 Sadly, and in spite of our prayers and hope, Wayne left us after severe complications following a stroke he suffered on September 28, 2008. He will be forever missed by Dorothy; his wife for 30 years; his children, grandchildren and friends. Wayne leaves behind one son Howard (Melody) of Carberry, MB; two daughters Ann (Lenis) Duncan of Carberry, MB and Lori-Lynn (Ted) of Winnipeg; Dorothy's son Kelly (Lisa); her daughters Michelle (Warren) Wojnowski and Darcy; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; four brothers, one sister and their families. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, his son Kevin, one brother and two sisters. The family wishes to thank all the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Ste. Anne Hospital and Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach and all the physicians who used their expertise in treating Wayne and caring for him in the last three months. Floral tributes are gratefully declined, but donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation (Cardiac Research) or a charity of one's choice. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr,, Steinbach, MB on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Jubinville Hall in Lorette.
