WALTER KRAMBLE On Friday, January 2, Walter passed away peacefully with family by his side. He was 82 years old and just days from his 83rd birthday when he succumbed to heart related illness. Survived by his wife Vera, and family Ron, Wayne (Donna), Sandra (Ken), Shirley (Dennis), Doug (Isla), and David (Joanne), sisters Carol, Dorothy and Audrey; and many grand and great grandchildren, he will be dearly missed by one and all. Funeral services are planned for Wednesday January 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Call 982-7550 for information. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the heart and stroke foundation. Our family would like to compliment Christian, Pauline, Colleen, Maureen, Ida, and all the ICU staff of Concordia Hospital for their care and comfort during Wally's final few days. A well known and respected member of the Transcona community where he was born and raised, Wally may best be remembered for his many years of service with CNR and VIA Rail, and as co-owner of the Princess Hotel. Those of us who have been around a little longer may recall his other endeavours such as the first radio dispatched Transcona Taxi in the early fifties as well as the B/A service station at Bond and Regent or Kramble Fuel Oil home heating. A tireless worker he enjoyed spending summer time with family and friends at Grand Beach. Over the past decade Wally who was a stroke victim, never gave up on his determination to on-day walk again, and he was most happy entertaining guests at their Devonshire home. Please join us Wednesday as we wish him a fond farewell. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
