HENRY WOLFE 1942 - 2008 On Monday, December 29, 2008 on Henry and Renate's 3rd Wedding Anniversary our Lord thought it was time to call Henry home. Henry and Renate had just returned from a vacation in Puerto Vallarta and toured Mexico. They had a great time and knowing that Henry loved her with all his heart. It was all made very clear and visible by how he treated and loved her. Shortly after midnight after their return home to Weslaco, Texas our Lord called Henry home in the arms of his beloved wife and soulmate. Henry leaves behind his loving wife, Renate Schjerning-Wolfe (nee Lohr), one son, Kevin and Rhoda Wolfe of Winnipeg, one daughter, Kelly and Pete Thomas of Winnipeg; three stepsons, Geoff and Tara Schjerning, Rodney and Diane Schjerning, Robbie Schjerning; five grandchildren, Wyatt, Emma, Ethan, Cross and Sailor. Henry is survived by brothers: John and Isadora Wolfe, Dave and Leigh Wolfe; sisters: Ann and Jake Thiessen, Katie and Peter Wiebe, Helen and John Penner; his mother-in-law, Maria Lohr and in-laws, Karin and John Barber, Peter and Jocelyn Lohr, Gertrude Wolfe. Henry also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues here in Canada and in the USA. He was predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Anna (nee Friesen) Wolfe, brothers: Peter, Abe, Jake and sister, Mary. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church 189 2nd St. Interment to follow at Reinfeld Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations made to assist the family with the funeral expenses will be available at the church.
