Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMINNIE SUFFIELD December 29, 1918 - January 1, 2009 Peacefully, on January 1, 2009 at the age of 90, Minnie passed away with her family at her side. Minnie was predeceased by her husband Thomas, brother Emil and sister Elma. She will be sadly missed by daughter Margaret Fliss (Ron); son Tom Suffield (Cynthia); grandchildren, Kerry (Patrick), Brian (Tanya), Trevor (Sheona) and Kristin; sisters, Emma Gabel, Lil Weston, Anne Gauthier (Andre); brother Paul Maurischat (Anita) and great-grandson Brett. Minnie was born in 1918 in Camper, MB and eventually moved to Winnipeg, where she worked for many years at Eaton's. She loved to cook for her family and friends and will be remembered for her wonderful baking. She also spent many happy hours in her garden. Minnie had a modest and gentle nature and touched the lives of many people through her kindness and generosity. She will be deeply missed, but what she left with us will be cherished forever. The family would like to extend special thanks to Pastor Dave and Darlene Holland and the staffs at Meadowood Manor and Victoria General Hospital for their care and kindness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10 at Meadowood Manor, 577 St. Anne's Rd. at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meadowood Manor (Attention: Colleen) or to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
