JOSEPH EDWARD KING Peacefully on January 4, 2009, Joseph King, aged 68 years, of East Selkirk, MB, passed away, at the Selkirk General Hospital, with his family at his side. He was predeceased by a son Douglas; mother Tessie; father John; and brothers, Walter, Tony and John. Left surviving him is his wife Elsie; son Richard (Angie); and granddaughter Holly, of Tyndall; sisters, Mary Machdanz, of East Selkirk, and Annie D'hont, of Winnipeg; brothers, Peter (Veronica) and Frank (Verna), of East Selkirk; and many nieces and nephews. Joseph had worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills for 34 years, and in his spare time, enjoyed traveling and playing pool. A private family service will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel with Fr. Jerry Talarski officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date in the East Selkirk Cemetery. Special thanks to Fr.
