LEONARD (DAVID) DUNNING Safe in the arms of Jesus It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Dad, and husband Dave Dunning, on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. David is survived by his wife of 38 years Jacqueline Dunnning, 11 children; David, Dennis, Andrea, Crystal, Hope, Carol, Doris, Jim, Joy, Wilfred, Fern and their spouses and friends, 30 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Dave's brothers: Denis, Jano (Betty), sister Donna, and family, special niece Kathy Emmet and daughter Kierra. Numerous neices, nephews, and many friends. David was predeceased by his father, Leonard Dunning, mother Jesse Johnson, brothers Edward and Arthur, sisters Marge and Phyllis and grandson Keith Little Jr. Dad was born in Erikson, MB, then moved on to live and work in Ontario and Winnipeg, Manitoba where he lived until his passing. An evening service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Wheelers Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West. Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Nations Community Church, 44 Tentler Street, Winnipeg, MB, with Reverend Ron Favel officiating.
