THOMAS MURRIN HAM September 7, 1918 - January 3, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tom, at the Health Sciences Centre, on January 3, 2009, at the age of 90. Tom leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 62 years, Frederica (Freddie); daughters, Barbara (Bob) Rondeau, Donna (Randy) Ranville; grandchildren, Dave (Heather), Kevin, Rhonda, Michelle (Garnet), Melanie (Jesse); six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlin, Ashley, Andre, Anora, Casey and one that he was eagerly anticipating the arrival of in May. Brother Wilf of Thunder Bay; two sisters, Ivy (Johnny), of Penticton and Violet, of Winnipeg; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Iva Ham; brother Jim; sisters, Emily, Ella and Laura; and granddaughter Jenny. Tom worked for Winnipeg Hydro for 36 years and retired in 1982. He served in the Canadian Army overseas in the Second World War, 1941 - 1945. Tom was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was on three bowling teams, a dart league and until recently enjoyed to curl and golf. Spending time with family and travelling were some of Tom's greatest joys. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Kildonan Legion, Branch 30, Main Street and Hartford Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Tom's memory, to The Salvation Army or The War Amps. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
