NINA DEWEY 1914 - 2009 It is with great sadness the family of Nina Dewey, announces her passing on Friday, January 2, 2009, at the Victoria Hospital. Nina was born March 18, 1914 in Winnipeg to parents, May and Ernest Dewey. Nina lived in Norwood most of her life going to Tache School and Norwood Collegiate Institute. Nina worked at Hudson Bay House for many enjoyable years. She loved playing bridge and looked forward to her Saturday afternoon games with her special friends. Nina took great pleasure in classical music, attending the ballet and the symphony. Nina's family and friends enjoyed many summers at her cottage at Longbow Lake, Kenora. Left to cherish Nina are her sister Joan Jackson; niece Laurel (Bruce) Watson, of Brandon; and nephews, Grant and Matt, of Calgary; cousin Elizabeth Fiddess, of Victoria, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Nina's memory, to the Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3. At Nina's request no formal service will be held. A tea in celebration of Nina's life will take place at 41 Clayton Drive, 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2009. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
