EDWARD KRUK June 30, 1933 January 5, 2009 Edward passed away, peacefully, at Donwood Personal Care Home, with family by his side. Ed was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his devoted and loving wife Nadine; sons, Brian (Kim), Darryl (Tania); and daughter Kimberly (Darrell). Ed is also survived by his grandchildren, Benjamin, Aiden and Emily. Ed is predeceased by his parents, Ella and Onefrey; his brothers, Mike, Harry and John and his sister Mary. Ed married Nadine on June 24, 1967 and they shared many special years together. Ed started work at Eastern Sales, in Beausejour, in 1957 and then moved with them to Winnipeg until his retirement in 1992. Ed loved polka music and spent many hours playing guitar with the Harmony Four. The family would like to thank all the staff at Donwood PCH to which Ed came to call home . A special thanks to the nurses and aides who cared for Ed, and especially, to Colleen Bergen and Marj Rowe. Thank you Chaplain Wanda Derksen for your compassion and support during Ed's last hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Recreation Department at Donwood PCH, 171 Donwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2G 0V9. A memorial service to celebrate Ed's life will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
