BERTHA ELEANOR MURRAY (REHILL) Peacefully, on January 6, 2009, Bertha Eleanor Murray (Rehill), passed away, with her family by her side. Her husband Joseph Murray; son Robert; and brothers, Vic and Ted predeceased her. She is survived by her sisters, Marjorie (Dimps), Joyce (Toots); her sons, Ron (Elaine) and Jim (Sunanda); her four grandchildren, Delaine, Mike (Gwen), Rob (Janet) and Jasmin; four great-grandchildren, Matthew (Breanna), Amanda, Melanie and Kyle; her great-great-grandchild Owen and her large extended family. Bertha was born on April 24, 1919 in Homewood, Manitoba and moved to Portage la Prairie at a young age; there she met and married Joseph Murray on March 15, 1939. They later moved to Winnipeg where they raised three sons and shared 59 full years together including the many summers at West Hawk Lake, winters in Texas, and trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii. Bertha's primary joy in life was her family, and she displayed unconditional love towards every member. In celebration of Bertha's life, an open house for friends and family will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Concordia Village located at 1115 Molson St.
