VICTORIA PARISIEN It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our dear aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and great-great-great-aunt on Sunday, January 4, 2009. At the young age of 99 Victoria Blanche Leger/ Parisien left us peacefully to meet her Maker and rejoice with her family: parents Roger Leger/Parisien and Marie (nee Larame); sisters Adele Vandale (Delphis), Elise Charette (Donat), Victorine Chartrand (Arthur), Alice, Anna and Malvina; brothers Joseph (Regina), Toussaint, Alphonse, Thomas (Beatrice), Roger Jr. (Madeleine). Also special nephew Leo (Lorraine). She leaves to mourn her passing, nieces Peggy Stenger (Alec), Victoria, BC, Vickey Newberry (George), Winnipeg, MB, and Exina Carriere, Coquitlam, BC. She also leaves behind many great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-great-nieces. Aunty was a fun-loving person and a real tease. She leaves us with many fond childhood memories during family gatherings at our grandparents' home. Our special thanks to Father Marcel Carrière who attended to her spiritual needs, also to great-niece Penny Joyal who attended to her material needs. We also thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Poseidon Care Centre for their services. A farewell service will be held at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road, St.Vital, MB on Friday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Marcel Carrière officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at St. Adolphe Cemetery at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined and donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Rest in peace Auntie DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949
