ERNEST (ERNIE) ROBERT BROWN February 9, 1931 - December 28, 2008 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Dad was recently predeceased by his loving wife, Norma Mildred Brown (November 21, 2008). Remaining to forever remember are his loving daughters, Colleen Guntner (John), Patricia Sheard (Phil), Judie Brown: grandchildren, Judy-Lynne Sheard, Jo-Anne Sheard (Chris) and Robert Sheard (Angela), as well as two great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and dear friends. Dad was in the Army Reserves in the early 1950s, a career with IGA stores and the Lottery Commission. He was very mathematical and enjoyed games, sports, movies, music, along with a great sense of humour. A Come and Go reception will be held on Monday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Oakview Place, 2395 Ness Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family extends their thanks to the staff at Oakview Place for their care and kindness to our Dad.
