ALICE EMMA JACHETTA (nee HINCE) November 28, 1922 January 1, 2009 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Alice Emma Jachetta on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 86 years. Remaining to forever cherish Alice's memory are her loving husband of 61 years of marriage, Peter Sr.; her four children son, Peter Jr. (Trudy) grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Michael and Steven; daughter, Marilyn (Terry), grandchildren, Darren (Laura), Megan (Israel) and Kathryn; son Raymond (Barbara); daughter, Teresa (Gale) grandson, Brian; sister-in-law, Antoinette; and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Maria Hince (nee Paquin); brother Romeo, sister, Annette Despatis and nephew, Rene. Alice will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold. Someone who constantly gave of her herself, she dedicated her entire life to the love and care of family. A wife, mother, grandmother, friend, Alice enriched our lives and will be dearly missed. We pray that God keep her safely by His side. Rest In Peace. In accordance with Alice's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family internment will take place at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Adam, nurses and staff on the 5th floor at the Victoria General Hospital for their excellent and respectful care and Richard Wojcik for his kind and caring assistance in our time of grief. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
