EVA CATHERINE KALIAN (HEBERT) On Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Riverside Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Eva Catherine Kalian, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, long time friend of George Hebert passed away at the age of 93 years. A private funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Predeceased by her father and mother; sisters, Annie (Alex) Yacucha, Mary (Pete) Perekinczuk, Nancy (Michael) Booth, Helen (Stan) Leslie; her brothers, Henry Kinchylo and Harry Kinczylo; niece Minta (Bill) McNamara; nephews, Steve, Billie and Greg Yacucha, and Ron Krawetz. She leaves to mourn her passing her nephews, Emil Krawetz, Johnny (Iris) Krawetz, Bill (Linda) Perkins all of Transcona, Norm (Maria) Budz of Minden, Ontario, Johnny (Mable) Yacucha of Transcona, Larry (Mary) Yacucha of Portage; nieces, Bev (Art) Irving of White Rock, BC, Irene Yacucha of High Bluff; cousins, Helen (Shane) Byrka of Winnipeg and many great nephews, nieces and cousins. Also surviving is her loving friend and companion of 58 years George Hebert, and close friend Mary Batnuik of Ontario.
