D’ARCY JOSEPH WAYNE DEWAR With deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of D’Arcy Dewar on Monday, January 5, 2009 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 75 years. Remaining to forever cherish D’Arcy’s memory are his loving wife Jean; sons Wayne (Jackie), Darrell (Nicki); granddaughter Kristin; grandson Drake; brother Gary Buydens (Noreen); as well as sisters-in-law, brother-inlaw; nieces and nephews. D’Arcy was employed with MTS for 35 years. After retirement in 1989, he enjoyed the summers at the cottage and spent many enjoyable hours working on his wood carvings. He also enjoyed his card games and always had a book by his side. To honour D’Arcy’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at 3-East at Riverview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in D’Arcy’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
