DONALD ALEXANDER CRAIG 1931 - 2008 On Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Grace Hospital, Donald Alexander Craig, aged 77 years, passed away after a short illness. Donald was born December 6, 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up in the Weston area of the city. He was educated at Cecil Rhodes School. Donald was employed in several occupations. As a youngster, he attended Sparling United Church and later Calvary Temple. Donald was predeceased by his sister Shirley Winnifred, November 10, 1947; his parents, James Murdoch, August 6, 1967, Winnifred Craig, December 20, 1988; brother James William, October 26, 1995; grandparents, Alexander Craig, March 24, 1944 and Jane Craig, September 29, 1951. He is survived by four brothers, Raymond Robert, Reginald Richard and Gary David Craig, all of Winnipeg and Gordon Kenneth Craig of Calgary, Alberta. Also sister-in-law Joan M. Craig of Winnipeg, one sister Linda Lamont (Tom), nephews, Randy James Craig of San Jose, California, Douglas Howard Craig of Iraq (Middle East), Jeffrey Blair Craig (Pamela) of Calgary, Alberta, Mark Thomas Lamont (Darlene) of Winnipeg and Neil William Lamont of Prince George, British Columbia; great-nephew Duncan Craig Lamont and great- niece Heather Shirley Lamont. Along with many cousins. Funeral Service will be held on January 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald's name to a charity of one's choice.
