BRUCE LANDRIE February 4, 1940 January 12, 2009 Unexpectedly, but peacefully at home, our beloved husband, father and papa passed away. He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie; sons John (Sandra) and Richard; and grand-children Sara, Brianna and Colin. He is also survived by his sisters; Norma (Bill) Munson and Louellen (Lorne) Frederick; and brother Donald (Linda) Landrie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Glenda Robinson. Bruce was employed with Canadian Press / Broadcast News for 35 years. In later years, he was employed with Auto Parts Central. Bruce was a fighter and a survivor right up until his last moments with us. He had a life long love for NASCAR and vintage cars and the people associated with them. He always anticipated and enjoyed gettogethers with family and friends, and talked about turkey and prime rib for weeks before and after. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6, if desired. The family would like to extend special thanks to the East St. Paul first responders and the Selkirk ambulance team for their consideration and kindness.
