GARRY GLENN JASIN Garry passed away on January 11, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 51. Garry was predeceased by his father Joseph and sister-in-law Diane. Besides his mother Frances he also leaves to mourn his brothers Zale (Bonnae), Ed (Marion), John, and Bill (Rose). He is also survived by special nephew Nathan and niece Tiffany as well as other numerous nephews and nieces. Garry grew up in the West Kildonan area and attended Garden City Collegiate and Tec Voc High School. He worked as a highway transport driver, and with CP Intermodal for over 12 years. He had many close friends with whom he thoroughly enjoyed himself. His niece Tiffany has fond memories of talking about Mustang cars and he shared a love of football with Nathan and attended many of his games. Garry will be missed by all who knew and loved him, he was a kind, gentle soul will a great sense of humor. He surely is a Gentle Giant. He leaves us all too soon. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their special care and also Martin and Sharon for their care, kindness, and support; you truly are angels. A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. with Charlette Novak officiating. Donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
