Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL IRENE KANTIMERE (nee NEDOHIN) August 7, 1911 - January 11, 2009 Pearl passed away peacefully, at the age of 97, at the Emerson Care Home. She will be deeply missed by her son Morris (Beverly) Emerson; three daughters, Ruth (Frank) Scherr, Qu'Appelle, SK, Helen (Ted) Johnston, Calgary, AB, Donna (Brian) Choboter, Kelowna, BC. She will also be remembered by brothers, Henry (Pearl) Nedohin, Murray (Elaine) Nedohin; and sisters, Olga Bayda, Ruth (James) Whall. Pearl was predeceased by her loving husband William in 1992, and by son Lawrence in 1952. She was also predeceased by her parents, William and Sophia Nedohin. Pearl was blessed with 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Among the many jobs she had, Pearl retired from the Emerson Hospital after 17 years of service. She was a faithful Baptist Church attendee, achieving Life Membership status, and served on many W.I. committees. Pearl was known to be a speedy and ardent walker. She could reach a goal as quickly as anyone in a vehicle could. She will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emerson Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emerson Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Nedohin officiating. Interment will follow in the Emerson Cemetery.
