MARJORY HELEN HALES March 19, 1920 - January 10, 2009 Marjory Hales passed away peacefully on January 10, 2009 at Riverview Health Centre. She is survived by her daughter Judy Demski; son Bill (Pat); daughter-in-law Dorothy; grandchildren, James (Shelley) Demski, Rob (Lisa), Trish, Ryan and Lindsay (Lucas) Stewart. She is also survived by her six great-grand-children, Nicolas, A.J., Ava, Natasha, Jesse and Haley. She was predeceased by her husband Robert G., son Robert J. and granddaughter Lori Demski. Marjory worked at the T. Eaton Company for 20 years and spent her leisure time painting beautiful oil landscapes and pursing her favourite sports, fishing and swimming at the family cottage on the Winnipeg River in Kenora, ON. She was a member of King Memorial United Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Her family was the center of her life, she spent countless hours with us, creating many memories that we will cherish. Friends and family will remember the many happy times at the lake, her love of music and the organ. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Road, Winnipeg. Thank you to the staff of CD1, Riverview Health Centre for caring for our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
