Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) CARRICK 1929 - 2009 With great sorrow we announce the passing of Jack after a lengthy battle with cancer on January 11, 2009 at Riverview Health Centre, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife Joyce of 58 years; son Tom; daughter Linda (Gord) Way; granddaughters, Janice (Todd) and Lori (Mike) and his sweet great-granddaughter Charley. He also leaves behind his brother Ron (Bev) of Calgary and sister Millie (Bob) of Ottawa, and numerous relatives. We would like to thank all the wonderful staff on 3 East, the Palliative Unit at Riverview Health Centre, as well as the home care nurses for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and as per Jack's wishes, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare or to a charity of your choice.
