IAN DAVID HIRSCH Ian David Hirsch born July 11, 1964 passed away peacefully on January 10, 2009. He leaves to treasure his memory his devoted sister Marilyn and his Uncle David and Aunt Fraidla Pollick. Ian was predeceased by his loving parents, Morris and Ruth Hirsch and his brother Yale Hirsch. He also leaves his longtime friends and roommates, Margaret, Peter, Chris, Barb and Lana. Ian worked diligently at Versatech for over 26 years. He was an exceptional athlete and enjoyed the outdoors. Ian's true love was music and he will be remembered for his many songs. Services and burial were conducted on January 12, 2009 at the Etz Chayim and interment at Rosh Pina Cemetery followed by a gathering of family and friends at Ian's home. Services were performed by Rabbi Lander and Cantor Tracy Kasner Graves. Pallbearers were students from Grey Academy. We would like to extend our thanks to Dr. Thomas Jacob, Dr. Owen Mooney, and all of the caring and supportive staff at the CCU of Health Sciences Centre as well as Rabbi Pinsker for his support. Donations in Ian's name can be made to St. Amant. A memorial service will also be held at St. Amant on January 29, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Ian you have enriched the lives of all who knew you and we will carry fond memories of you always.
