ANNA GRAEB 1922 - 2009 It is with profound sadness that the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Annie on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in Victoria Hospital after a brief illness. Annie was born in Northeim, Germany, married her husband Edward in 1942, had two children and came to Canada in 1957. Edward predeceased her in 2002 after 50 wonderful years of marriage. Annie loved life, her family and friends. She worked for a number of years in the food services at University of Winnipeg and the Canadian Wheat Board. On her vacations she loved to travel with her family to places such as San Francisco. After she retired she loved to vacation with her husband in such warm places as Hawaii, Florida, and Jamaica. During the summer, she enjoyed the cottage life at Grand Beach. She will be lovingly remembered by her son John (Lynne), grandchildren Brian (Lisa), Eric (Carla), and Christopher, as well as her six great-grandchildren; her daughter Christa (Paul) Webster and her grandchildren, Kristen and Andrew. A celebration of Annie's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to the staff of the 5th floor of the Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Annie to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Victoria General Hospital Foundation. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
