VIOLET ROSE FIEBELKORN (nee SIMCOE) On Saturday, January 17, 2009 Violet passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 65 years. Violet was predeceased by her husband Elmer, parents Frances and Peter Simcoe and step father Orest Galay. Violet is survived by her children Dale (Debbie), Barry (Cheryl), and Bev (Lloyd) Johnson, grandchildren Alexandra, Mackenzie and Jeffrey, siblings Gloria (Bill), Shirley (Harvey), Sally (Charlie), Richard (Joyce), Allan and Clifford and numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was born in Red Lake, Ontario on July 4, 1943. Her family moved to Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba where she met and married Elmer and they had three children. Tragically, Violet and her children suffered the loss of Elmer in 1972. Family and friends were very generous and helpful to Violet raising her children. To honour Violet's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
