VIOLET DUCE (nee TURNBULL) March 26, 1928 - January 17, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom and Grandma. She is survived by her daughter Diane (Darcy); granddaughter Kristen (Steven); sister Jean (Jack); sister-in-law Donna; many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her husband John (1989); granddaughter Loretta; son-in-law Paul; parents Isaac and Belle; sister Emma (Bill) and brother Allan. She was devoted to her faith and an avid and proud worker in her little community. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Mom had a kind heart and was always there for everyone. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service will be held in the Rathwell Memorial Hall on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2 p.m. with The Venerable Norman Collier and Reverend Jim Haupt officiating.
