ELSIE BELLIVEAU (nee HOWK) 1933 - 2009 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Belliveau on January 17, 2009 at the Riverview Health Centre. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Paul; sons, Roger (Pauline), Robert and grandchildren: Courtney and Ryan. She will also be lovingly remembered by sister Linda Bushby and brother John (Doreen) Howk of Thunder Bay, ON and many extended family members and special friends. Elsie was born in River Hills, MB and moved to Winnipeg after high school to attend business college, after working for a few years she married Paul in 1956. Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Matilda and William Howk; brothers, Walter, William, Albert, Rudolph, Harry and sisters, Martha, Hilda, Helen. Elsie saw a lot of beauty in our world and as a pastime hobby she loved doing artwork in different mediums. Her artwork now hangs in many homes. She was a member of the Winnipeg Sketch Club. Elsie was also an avid curler and enjoyed the game and friendships of the game. Elsie enjoyed her family and time spent at the cottage with family and friends and doing gardening. In keeping with Elsie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with Father Fred Olds officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service in the Reception Centre. A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Elsie to CancerCare Manitoba or the charity of one's choice. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
