Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARLENE CUNNINGHAM It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arlene Cunningham on January 19, 2009 at the Grace Hospital. Arlene was born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1928 but grew up and lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was one of eight children. Arlene was predeceased by her husband George Cunningham of 40 years, daughter Carol, and brother Billy, and sisters; Dorothy and Thelma. She is survived by her brother Morley, sisters Claire, Shirley, and Inez, six children; Carla (Mark Argyle), Diane (Jeff Begal), David Bevan (Lee-Anita), Glen Bevan, Terry Bevan (Anita), Eric Bevan (Darlene), grandchildren; Sherry (Bill) Sigurdson, Janet (Carrie) Korne, Trina (Trevor) Hayhurst, Shantel (Andrew) Capobianco, Chelsea (John) MacIntosh, Torey (Brittany) Lasko (Danny Singh), Jennifer Bevan, Trevor Bevan, Eric Bevan, Dillon Bevan, and great-grandchildren; Christopher, David, Kaitlyn, Melissa, Hudson, Brooke, Damien, Kayden, and Megan, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arlene was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legions in St. James and Westwood for many years and was an avid dart player. She also enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends, putting puzzles together, sewing, making crafts and flower arrangements. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arlene was a very kind, generous, and loving person and made many good friends who appreciated her wonderful spirit and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed. At Arlene's wishes, cremation will take place through Neil Bardal Inc. with an interment to take place at Chapal Lawn Memorial Gardens in the spring of 2009. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at The New Hope Community Church of The Nazarene, 214 Henderson Highway (at Noble Ave.). A gracious thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and support.
