CLARA REBECCA BLEET (nee LERCHER) Clara Bleet, predeceased by her devoted husband, Sidney, passed away peacefully in her daughter Rachel's arms on January 21, 2009. Clara came from Melville, SK, raised her family in Winnipeg, lived in Ottawa and recently resided in Toronto. Beloved mother, friend, grand and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Clara felt family always came first and is lovingly remembered by Marilyn and Abe Nadrich, Ruthie (Rachel) Owa, Jack and Laureen Bleet; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Bonnie Pascal, Jerry and Aaron Austin, Tammy, Danny, Raquelle and Rebecca Revizada, Danny, Eliza and Bradley Grosh, Joshua and Bess, Michael and Steven Bleet. Special thanks to staff at Thornemill on Steeles, the Constantia and Palliative doctors, Dr. Kirschen, Dr. Kendall; Palliative nurse Mamdouh; care workers, Eva, Maliha, Luz, Maria, Lucy and all the nurses who loved her, she loved them too. Afternoon graveside service will be held Thursday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery in Winnipeg. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
