KELLY DEREK KJARTON GODFREY (Lone Wolf) 1970 - 2009 It is the family's greatest sorrow to announce the sudden passing of our son, father, brother and uncle. Kelly Boy was a very gentle and precious spirit who dedicated his life to loving, helping and supporting children, youth and adults with special needs. Kelly was predeceased by his Aunty Isobel Monkman and his nephew Cody Zankowski. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by: his parents Bernice Monkman and John Godfrey, his son Colton, his sweetheart Bev and her son Justin; sisters Kimberly (Jean Louis) Godfrey, Denise (Mike) Bertossa, Marlo (Ian) Godfrey and his brother Jeffrey (Lynn) Godfrey, as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and life-long friends. Kelly's antics, laughter and special relationship with cousins Kyle, Lee, J.C. and Cory, better known as Auntie Chickie's boys will always be fondly remembered and forever cherished. The family would like to send many heartfelt thanks to the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc. and the Native Women's Transitions Centre for all their love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to these lovely organizations or Canadian Mental Health Association, Winnipeg Region.
