Remaining to forever cherish Christopher's memory are his wife of 50 years of marriage, Isabel; his four children Bonnie (Brad), Sharon (James), Brenda (Todd) and Chris Jr.; siblings Connie (Derek) of Nepean, Ont., James of Killaloe, Ont.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Aileen and Marion (Lawrence); and brothers Clarence (Marge) and Richard. Chris was born and educated in Pierson, Manitoba. He was a Jack of all Trades , first teaching at Copley School at the age of 17, then moving to Winnipeg working as a picture framer for Eaton's, to then being an x-ray technician in Norway House. He then went back to school at Red River Community College, where he took welding, getting a job at M.C.I. Chris finally spent 16 years working for the City of Winnipeg ending up in the conservatory with the flowers and plants he loved so much. Chris was an avid crossword puzzler who loved all animals and had a huge sweet tooth. He had a vibrant personality and loved to joke and tease. Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him especially by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service will be held in the Spring in Pierson, Manitoba.
