EDWARD FREDERICK (TED) BENSON September 4, 1933 - January 23, 2009 Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Gladys (Smith) for over 51 years. Loving father of Valerie (Jim Steele), of Brampton and Kathleen of Ajax. Dear grandfather of Kyle, Carly and Jason Rindinella and Steven and Kristen McIntyre. He is survived by his sisters, Pat (Jack Cunningham) and Elizabeth McFarlane all of Winnipeg and Gail Meriam of Burnaby, BC and many nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by parents, Frederick and Kathleen Benson of Winnipeg and his twin brother Walter. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home Brampton Chapel , 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Tuesday, January 27 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Heart Lake United Church, 85 Sandalwood Pkwy E., Brampton on Wednesday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
