HELEN LIBBY SUNLEY nee MCCONNELL Peacefully with family near on Monday morning January 26, 2009 at Concordia Hospital. Predeceased by her mother Libby, father Mervin and brother Barry. Helen will be missed by her loving husband Purve of 54 years and children, Gay (Lorne), Ron (Deidre), Dave (Patricia), Bev (Mike), Richard (Cheryl), Michael (Paul), nine grandchildren, one great-grandson and sister Noreen. Helen was born in Hamiota and raised in Lavinia on the family farm before moving to Winnipeg to become an x-ray technician in the early 1950s. We appreciate all the personal care provided to Helen by the staff at Meadowood Manor and Concordia Hospital. A ceremony will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home in the late spring. Announcement to follow. Donations can be made to Concordia Hospital Foundation in lieu of flowers. The family is thankful for all your prayers and thoughts.
