ANN JANE LISCOMBE Ann Jane Liscombe (nee Roycroft) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Sunday, January 25, 2009. She is survived by Ray, her husband of 58 loving years; her daughter Jan; son David, daughter-in-law Liz and grandchildren Cristopher and Benjamin, as well as sister-in-law Joy, husband Don and niece and nephew Cindy and Derek. Ann was born June 26 1925 in Monchy, Saskatchewan and moved to Magnet, Manitoba at an early age. She grew up in Magnet and later moved to Winnipeg to take a job with the Provincial Veterinary Lab. She met Ray in 1946 at the University of Manitoba and they were married in 1950. They raised their family in Winnipeg and Minneapolis, moved to California in 1975, returning to Minnesota in 2003. Ann was active in the Anglican Church and was always concerned for the well being of others. She was her brother's keeper and will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the care givers at Friendship Village and the staff from Fairview Home Care Hospice for their wonderful comfort and care. A celebration of Ann's life will be held at Friendship Village, 8100 Highwood Drive, Bloomington, MN Saturday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Hospice Fund, C/O Fairview Foundation, 2200 Riverside Ave., Minneapolis MN 55454
