RUTH EVELYN THIEL On Friday, January 23rd, 2009, Ruth, beloved wife of John, passed away. She will be sadly missed by her son Bryan, and his wife Sheryl and her grandchildren, Krispen, Crystal, Amory and Ryland; and son-in-law, Mark. She was predeceased by her daughter Candace; brothers, Ernest and Ed, and sister, Amanda. Ruth was born September 18, 1923, in Wisconsin. She grew up in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and spent most of her adult life in Dryden and Winnipeg. She was a loving, giving mother and grandmother and has left an abundance of fond memories. Her sense of humour will be missed. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. A reception will follow. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for their kindness and care.
