Dorothy was a caring loving homemaker up until her husband's death in 1969, which left her having to enter the workplace outside the home at various jobs lastly being Deer Lodge Centre up until her retirement after 17 years of service in 1992. Mom met Gordon shortly after this and they spent many happy years together enjoying life out in Teulon, MB.
