ROBERT (BOB) BELYK Peacefully, with family by his side, Bob passed away at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB on January 29, 2009 at the age of 50 years. Bob is survived by his brothers, John (Heather), Tim (Carol); sister Irene (Jim) Runolfson; nephews, Jeff (Audrey) and Greg as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bob will be deeply missed by his friend Audrey. Bob was born on March 28, 1958 in Eriksdale and lived in the Oak Point area. He was a dedicated employee of the Manitoba Highways Department for 27 years. Bob enjoyed gardening, commercial fishing and the odd golf game as time permitted. Our brother was a quiet, gentle man who was always willing to help those in need and asked nothing in return. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Lundar Legion Hall with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, the Concordia Hospital and the Grace Hospital for the special care Bob received. Forever Loved, Forever Remembered. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOME Ashern - Lundar 1-204-768-2072 1-866-323-3593

Dearest Family, We are so sorry for your loss. We will always cherish the memories of Bob and the lessons he taught us, especially Garrett. Bob,Eva and Tim, welcomed Garrett, myself, and Joe as if we were part of the family. Garrett worked with Bob in the field and Eva would always have lunch for them. Garrett loved those lunches and especially spending time with Bob. "He was a huge father figure to me." We know that time will heal all wounds but we pray that God will help the pain quickly go away. Love always, Garrett Sigurdson, Angie and Joe Laughlin - Posted by: Garrett, Angie & Joe Sigurdson/ Laughlin (Friend) on: Jan 31, 2009
