TOM BORGER Peacefully on January 28, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital, Tom Borger, beloved husband of Ina Borger, went to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 71 years. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Riekele and Romkje Borger; and brother Hendrik. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Ina; sons, Craig, Brent (Rika) and Derek; grandchildren, Ria and Noah; sisters, Aafke, Betty, Lutske and Aukje; brothers, Klaas, Bill, Eppie and Jake, as well as good family friend Jackie. Tom was a church elder at St. John's Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Winnipeg Executive Association. Tom was owner of Windsor - Gostling Ltd. where he worked with repairing and selling electronics for over 50 years. Tom was an avid skier and loved to play football, in his spare time he enjoyed home renovations and working in his garden. Tom was a well-loved man and a true friend to everyone. A memorial service will take place at St. John's Presbyterian Church on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow. A private family interment will be held. The family would like to thank Dr. Bartlett for his exceptional care and the staff of the Palliative Care at St. Boniface Hospital for all their support and help. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tom's name to St. John's Presbyterian Church or the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
