ROBERT CHARLES KENNY NEPINAK 1959 - 2009 On Sunday, January 25, 2009 Mr. Robert Charles Kenny Nepinak of Pine Creek, Manitoba passed away at the age of 49 years. Robert was born in Winnipegosis, Manitoba and attended school in Pine Creek, Dauphin and Winnipeg. Robert worked at CP Rail briefly as a Hammer Operator, also at Limestone and Flin Flon, and as a carpenter and most recently as a Housing Manager for Pine Creek First Nation. Robert's hobbies and interests were hunting, barbecuing and having a drink with his friends and family. He loved and cherished his family especially his midgets (grandchildren). He also loved sitting around playing his guitar and he loved his dog, Roger. He also loved to listen to Curtis' singing. His Auntie Shirley and his cousin, Linda were his childhood friends, whom he loved like sisters. He had a great sense of humour, and everyone who knew him knew he always got the last laugh. He loved the poem My Daddy that his daughter Jennifer wrote for him. He was married for 21 years, he had four daughters, one son and two grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart. Robert is survived by his loving wife Sheila; son Robert Patrick Nepinak of Calgary, Alberta; daughters, Christy Nepinak of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jennifer Nepinak, Dayna Nepinak and Kristen Nepinak of Pine Creek, Manitoba; grandson Harley Nepinak and granddaughter Nakita Nepinak of Pine Creek, Manitoba; his loving mother Marie Therase Nepinak of Pine Creek; two brothers and two sisters, Frances Contois of Pine Creek, Vernon (Lenora) Nepinak of Pine Creek, Joyce (Scott) Nepinak of Winnipeg, Marcel (June) Nepinak of Vancouver, British Columbia and Tracey Nepinak (sister-in-law) of Winnipeg. Robert was predeceased by his father Jonas Nepinak; brother Douglas R. Nepinak and a son Kenneth D. Neapew. Evening prayers will be held from the Camperville Community Hall in Camperville, Manitoba on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Camperville on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Sebastian officiating. Following the service cremation will be taking place. Active pallbearers will be Jason Nepinak, Frank Nepinak, Wayne Fiddler, Allen Fiddler, Alan Nepinak, Gerald Chartrand, Rene McKay and Joe Alec Mekish. Honourary pallbearers will be Vernon and Lenora Nepinak, Linda Nepinak, Priscilla McKay, Adrienne Fiddler, Mona Guiboche, Laurie Sanderson, Edna Brisebois, John Neapew Jr., Patrick Gambler (Paddy), Shirley M. Nepinak, Donna and Howard Halvorson, Allen Fiddler Jr. (Nephew), Cpl. Robert J. Nepinak, Stanley Klyne, Bernard Neapew, Curtis Nepinak, Marcel Nepinak, Calvin Nepinak, Brad Moosetail, Patrick V. Nepinak, Ernie Nepinak, Larry Nepinak Sr., Dale Orvis, Brian McKinnon, Ernest and Nancy McKay, Tom and Helen Connors, Sherry and Bert McKay, Racine Nepinak, Gordie McKay, his Godchildren; Nevada Nepinak, Joseph Dwayne Nepinak and Kelly Marie Neapew and all his nieces and nephews, and for everyone who knew him and loved him, consider yourselves Honourary Pallbearers. Should friends so desire, memorial donations in Robert's memory, may be made to a charity of your choice.   • It's been 12 long years since you've passed. I remember when you use to take me hunting and fishing, I fell in mud one time lol. I was so young, only 9. I miss you papa. I'm starting university now, yesterday was my first day. And to be honest you've been my main inspiration to keep going, even though it's been hard.   • He bought me 2 guitars ever since I was 15, Well I'm finally trying to learn how to play. :) I'm sure you'd be proud of me. I have a daughter now, she looks like me.
