Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE ANDERSON (nee SELLEY) Yvonne Anderson of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009, as a result of a fatal stroke at the age of 79 years. Yvonne grew up in Fannystelle, Manitoba. In 1951 she graduated from the Grace Hospital of Nursing in Winnipeg. She was a registered nurse at Deaconess Hospital and United Hospitals in Grand Forks, and retired as head nurse of the Intensive Care Unit in 1985. Yvonne was inducted into the Altru Nursing Hall of Fame in 2003. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Lyle; her children, Clark (Danette) Anderson and their children, Griffin and Graham; Beth Anderson-Molde (Jim Molde) and their daughter, Kinzie; Scott Anderson and his children, Samantha, Joey, and Madelyn; Kent (Cindy) Anderson and their children, Emily and Jewel; siblings, Doug (Sheila) Selley, Shirley (Don) Harper, and Ron (Lorna) Selley. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents Art and Margaret Selley, and a granddaughter, Sawyer. Services were held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Grand Forks, ND.
