Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) GILBERT HADDRELL On Thursday, January 29, 2009, Jack died at Oakview Place at the age of 83 years. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife Louise; daughters Connie (Rick), Judy (Ted), Lissa (James); grandchildren Jason, Stacy (Shaun), Todd, Erin (Scott), Kim, Jonathon, Nathan, Genny (Jamie) and Jordon; and great-grandchildren Myla, Austin, Wade, Colby, Kayden and Tealia. Being active in sports, Jack loved to play hockey, baseball, curling and bowling. He excelled in music and Musical Theatre and led in church choirs, gospel quartet, Barber Shoppers and seniors choirs. Being very creative in woodworking Jack made many toys, specializing in wooden trucks and trains. This is how he spent his retirement years and entered and enjoyed many craft sales. Jack's funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Victory Baptist Church, 3428 Portage Avenue. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital and Oakview Place for their care, and to Carol for taking Mom to visit Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3K 0Y1.
