DOROTHY OLIVE WIEBE After a lengthy illness, on January 31, 2009, at Taché Centre, Dorothy Wiebe, beloved wife of Clifford Wiebe, passed away peacefully at the age of 72 years. Dorothy was born on June 17, 1936, in Baldur, Manitoba, then resided in Mariapolis before coming to Winnipeg in 1955. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Cliff; son Bryan (Cathy); sister Lorraine Gatin (Maurice); two half sisters, Mrs. Fleurette Capon, Mrs. Orise Boulet (Ovila); sister-in-law Mrs. Margaret Wiebe and special friend Donna, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred Trottier in 1944 and mother Mrs. Germaine Petit Trottier in 1992; brothers-in-law, Bob Wiebe and Gerald Wiebe and sister-in-law Marianne Wiebe. Dorothy worked at St. Boniface Hospital for many years and in her spare time she loved music, knitting and playing cards. Dorothy was especially devoted to family and friends, touched many lives and will be truly missed. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
