NORINE ELAINE HALLGRIMSON October 8, 1964 - February 1, 2009 Norine passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Sunday, February 1, 2009. Norine is the loving daughter of Irene and the late Leifur Hallgrimson, and the much beloved sister to Elin (Wadood) and Kenneth (Suzanne), and auntie to Tyler, Nadia, Zachary, Stefan, Christian and Alexander. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Norine enriched the lives of those who knew and loved her. She showed us the way to compassion and patience in our lives. Her sense of humour and good nature were evident despite the challenges in her life. Many thanks are expressed for the love and friendship that has surrounded Norine at Prairie Places Inc. and DASCH for many years. Thank you also to the staff at Grace Hospital for the excellent care Norine received during her last few days. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 at Neil Bardal Inc., 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, across from Brookside Cemetery, Pastor Michael Kurtz officiating.
