CELIA VAN WEEGHEL Celia passed away peacefully on January 26, 2009. Born on February 18, 1926 in Utrecht, Holland, she came to Canada in 1954. She lived most of her life in southern Manitoba, spending many of her remaining years in the area of Shoal Lake and Strathclair. Predeceased by her husband Johannes in 1980, son William in 1997, and sister Helena in 1991. She is survived by her daughters, Hermina (Dave) of B.C., Helen, Lucy, Alice (Dale) of Alberta, and Marian (Don). Also mourning her passing, she leaves 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, along with her brother Cornelas of Holland, and niece Yvonne of California. Services will be held at Rae's Funeral Home in Shoal Lake on Saturday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Strathclair. Pastor W. Thom officiating.
