JEANNETTE FIOLA September 1, 1926 - February 1, 2009 With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jeannette Fiola, our beloved maman, grandmère and grand-grandmère, at the age of 82 years at Ste. Anne Hospital, after a brief courageous battle with cancer. Jeannette was predeceased by the father of her children Arthur Fiola, her sons Maurice and Gilbert (at birth); her parents Adela (Trudel) and Hector Baron, her siblings: Omer, Leo, Edouard, and Juliette as well as many in-laws. Left to cherish Jeannette's memory and mourn her absence are her daughters: Lucille (Art) Findish; Simone (Sam) Katsabanis; Florence Chaput; Lilliane Fiola; her son Roger (Barbara Saindon); daughter-in-law Gertrude; grandchildren: Paul Fiola, Debbie Fiola (Robert), André Findish, Danielle Findish, James Katsabanis, Peter (Monica) Katsabanis, Daniel (Emma) Chaput; Robert Chaput; Charles (Kim) Fidler; Sarah Curry; Janelle Curry; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Michael, Britney, Samuel, Sarah and Hudson. Jeannette is also survived by her sisters: Lauraine Lajoie and Evelyne Boivin; brothers: Alphonse and Frankie (Irene) Baron; in-laws Marie Hacault, Soeur Olivine Fiola mo, Elmire Fiola, Jeanne Fiola, Rozaire Fiola, Hubert Robidoux, Gaëtan Hutlet as well as many nieces and nephews. Maman venait d'une famille douée de talents musicaux. Elle n'hésitait pas de partager son point de vue dans la politique. Elle jouissait des sports, des parties de cartes et des excursions aux casinos. La famille tient à remercier sincèrement Docteur de Moissac et le personnel de l'hôpitale Sainte-Anne pour les bons soins qui lui ont été prodigués avec tant d'amitié. Votre affection et votre compassion furent grandement appréciés. In keeping with Jeannette's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass celebrating her life will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6 in Sainte-Anne-des-Chênes Catholic Church, Ste.
