Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUZANNE (SUZIE) GIESBRECHT (nee CURE) December 20, 1954 - February 1, 2009 After a courageous and lengthy illness, Suzie passed away peacefully on February 1, 2009 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Suzie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 29 years, Ron Giesbrecht. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Lucie (Laurent) Lambert, Roger (Louise) Curé, Albert (Agatha) Curé, Rita Catellier and Emile (Ginette) Curé. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Helen Giesbrecht; brother-in-law Kerry (Laurie) Giesbrecht; and sister-in-law Janet MacIntire. Suzie is predeceased by her parents, Nèrée and Alice Curé; her father-in-law Abe Giesbrecht and her brother-in-law Noël Catellier. She adored time with people - listening, loving and laughing. Indeed, Suzie's passion was her family, friends and let's not forget her frog collection! Since she had no children, she took tremendous pride and joy with her many (great) nieces and (great) nephews and treated them as her own. After graduating from St. Pierre Collegiate, she moved to Winnipeg where she worked at many gas bars and truck stops. She had a special place in her heart for her customers . Her outgoing personality enabled her to meet many people and make many friends. She enjoyed many sports including watching football, curling and baseball. When her health permitted, she attended Bomber games and spent time fishing and bowling. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. We will miss her strong faith, listening ear, spirited determination and her remarkable sense of humour. FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS IN CARE OF: WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVE.
