Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN MOORHOUSE COOK March 6, 1925 - February 4, 2009 Peacefully, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, with his wife Phyllis by his side, Dad gracefully passed away. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Phyllis of 51 years, son Edward (Karen), daughter Agnes Giesbrecht (Larry), grandchildren Ryan and Caitlin, son Harvey (Heather), grandchildren Ian, Leroy and Annie, son George (Roxanne), grandchildren Madison and Amber, sister Edith Smith, niece Marianne Smith and sister-in-law Dallys Leduc (Joe). He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Peter Smith. A Memorial Service honouring John's life will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m., Oakbank United Church, 582 Balsam Crescent, Oakbank, MB, lunch will be served immediately following the service. Private interment to be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of John Moorhouse Cook may be made to North Eastman Health Association Inc.
