Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE IWANICK (nee NAHERNIAK) December 26, 1916 - February 1, 2009 Olive Iwanick, formerly of Pine Falls, Manitoba peacefully passed away at 92 years of age. Beloved Mother of Larry of Kamloops, Ray (Marilyn) of Winnipeg, Arnold (Sharon) of Washington, and Gloria (Randy) of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Natasha, and Tatiana; and great-grandchild Josie. Mourning her passing are sisters Pauline, Dorothy, Lena, Anne, and brothers Mel and Bill. Predeceased by her husband Alex and brothers Basil, Alex, and sister Margaret. May God take this beautiful rose and make her part of heaven's garden. Treat her gently with all the love and tender care she gave us. Larry is profoundly thanked and appreciated for the compassionate, loving care he devoted to mother for many years. Services will be at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Russell, Manitoba, at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2009. In lieu of flowers, should family and friends wish, a donation to a charity of their choice may be made in Olive's memory.

We are so saddened to hear of your mother's passing.Altough we have not seen her for many years she is very much in our memories. In a recent conversation with Gloria she mentioned that she did not know that your mom was my God-Mother. I will always remember that as my birthday came around in February i knew I could expect a hand-knitted touque as a present. I know she is in a better place........
