RUTH GORDON We are sad to announce the passing of Ruth Gordon on February 2, 2009. She is survived by her daughters Karen and Cheryl, her sister Gertie Chochinov, brothers-in-law Lou Chochinov, Izzie Shuster and sister-in-law Rosely Gordon, plus many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Max, parents Charles and Rae Gordon, sister Evelyn (Shuster) and brother Norman Gordon. A special thank you to the staff at the Simkin Centre, the Victoria Hospital and to Marcela Fullante. We know they wish Mom well on this next part of her journey and we'd bet that with her transition, there's more laughter going on in heaven than on earth. The funeral took place on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
