Johannes Welbers and his family were the next door neighbours of my parents when I was young. That was in The Netherlands when the Welbers family lived in the city of Hengelo. My family and the Welbers family were very close at that time. My father was born in the same year and month as Johannes was, and they had common interests. The oldest son Walter was born in the same year as I was, the first born child and so am I. In those days Walter and I were still very young, and we got along very well. After the Welbers family had moved to Canada and settled in Winnipeg, Johannes has visited my family several times on various occasions, and every time my family and I enjoyed his visit very much! My parents have passed away a few years ago. Today I have been informed about the passing of Johannes Welbers at February 4, 2009. I hereby express my condolences to Walter, John, Lily, Paul and Andrew, and Johannes's grandchildren and great-grandchildren Theo Euverman, Hollandse Hout 308, Lelystad, The Netherlands - Posted by: Theo Euverman (Nexdoor neighbour a long time ago) on: Sep 21, 2013
